About Dion

I come from a small town in the country of Kosovo; You probably never heard of it, but it's a small country in southeastern Europe, while I do love my country, I was offered an opportunity to study in York, which is much better then the universities in Kosovo, so I decided to come to the UK and pursue my dreams and aspirations.

I aspire to become a great mathematician one day so that I can contribute to mathematics, that is why I have studied mathematics considerably ever since I started Highschool. A fun math fact about me is that I love groups. now you may ask, what is a group? the short answer
or at least one way to think about groups, is: it is the symmetries of an object. While we most likely won't delve into them at any point I do like them a fair bit.

About the lesson

I believe anyone can be a great mathematician with enough work and patience. So I hope to help as many people as I can to reach their true potential by helping them understand mathematical ideas instead of the old plug-and-chug method. In my lectures, I will not cut corners, which might make my lectures sometimes a bit more difficult, but I promise this is for the best. Practice all you want but if you don't understand why you cannot use mathematical tools to their utmost. On the other hand, I believe in having a flexible approach for each student; I understand that not everyone sees things the same way, and that can impact the best approach to studying. Additionally, I offer my first lesson for free to see if I am a good match.

My experience in mathematics has always been a pleasure, I have participated in many olympiads and even won some of them, including 4 times 1-st place in the Kosovo Mathematical Olympiad, 3-rd prize in the European Mathematical Cup, Honorable Mention in the International Mathematical Olympiad.

I aim to teach AS/A levels and GCSE or anything equivalent, but if you are interested in something more specific we can discuss it, and see if I'm fit for the Job!
