As a tutor, my approach is student-centered, focusing on individualized learning and interactive engagement. I use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to cater to different learning styles, ensuring each student grasps the material effectively.

A typical lesson plan begins with an introduction and objective setting, providing a brief overview of the day's topic and learning objectives. This is followed by a quick recap of the last lesson to ensure retention and continuity. The main part of the lesson involves a detailed explanation of the new topic using diagrams, examples, and interactive discussions. Guided practice follows, where we solve problems together to apply new concepts, with step-by-step guidance. Students then work on problems independently, with opportunities for questions and clarification. The lesson concludes with a review and feedback session, going over the answers, providing feedback, and discussing any difficulties encountered. Finally, a brief introduction to what will be covered in the next session is provided.

Being a college pre-medicine track allows me to integrate practical, real-world applications of math and science, making lessons more relevant and engaging. I focus not only on academic success but also on building confidence, fostering a love for learning, and developing critical thinking skills. Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs of the student, ensuring personalized attention and targeted learning. I strive to make learning enjoyable through interactive activities, games, and relatable examples, which helps maintain student interest and motivation.

My lessons are targeted at elementary and middle school students, from beginner to intermediate levels. They are suitable for students needing extra help in math and science, preparing for exams, or wanting to advance their skills. I cater to various learning paces and provide support for homework and test preparation. With this approach, I aim to make math and science subjects that students not only excel in but also enjoy!
