Heidi Sorber has a Master of Music degree and 45 years experience teaching flute, piano and voice lessons.

Mrs. Heidi has been teaching piano to my son, Hugh, for over five years and flute to my daughter, Hannah, for more than a year. We've come to know her not just as a dedicated music teacher but as a kind, reliable, and inspiring presence in our children’s lives. Mrs. Heidi is a patient, encouraging, and highly skilled. She brings a perfect balance of technical precision and musical expression to her teaching. She tailors her approach to each of my children’s needs, helping them build confidence while challenging them to grow. I wholeheartedly recommend Mrs. Heidi because of the consistent progress and joy she’s brought to my children’s musical education. Hugh has developed strong piano technique and a deep love for music under her guidance, while Hannah has gained both skill and enthusiasm for the flute. Her ability to connect with students and nurture their talent makes her truly exceptional.

Heidi is a wonderful music teacher. As an adult learning flute, it can be quite overwhelming, but she always creates a comfortable environment and is super patient with her students. I highly recommend Heidi as a Flute Teacher.

I highly recommend Heidi to anyone seeking a skilled and dedicated flute teacher. Over the past eight years, she has been an exceptional mentor to my daughter, combining technical expertise with genuine care and encouragement. Heidi not only helps her students excel musically but also instills confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music. She is truly one of a kind!

I am a previous flute student of Heidi's. I played clarinet as an elementary school aged student but always had the desire to take flute lessons. My husband surprised me by purchasing me a flute a few years back and I was blessed to get connected with Heidi as my flute teacher. Heidi was so patient and knowledgeable and I truly enjoyed all of our lessons. I wasn't sure how online flute lessons would work out, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well our lessons online went and how I grew as a musician. Heidi was a tremendous encouragement in my journey to learning flute as an adult. I am now able to play my flute at an advanced level due to the training I received as a student of Heidi's. I would definitely recommend Heidi as a teacher whether you are a young or older student of music.
