About Lana
I have studied health and social care since 2005 and I really do love my subject and love to inspire others to do the same. I have spent many years working and teaching to provide a totally inclusive curriculum to give my learners the best experience of the health and social care and early years sectors. I have managed projects and worked regularly with external providers including university trusts, the NHS and the Alzheimers Society to give my students opportunities to engage in the sectors and meet those who work within them on a day to day basis. They have been inspired to complete their health and social care qualifications which have led many of them to pursue careers within the health and social care sectors as nurses, paramedics, physiotherapists, radiographers and biomedical scientists. I am very proud to see them continue on their journey and I hope to help support you to do the same.

I offer small group or one to one lessons which are engaging and motivational. I apply the content to the specific curriculm and thoroughly explain what the criteria is looking for. The lessons can range from 30 minutes to an hour depending on whether it is content/topic based, or for revision or to help support answering exam questions. As an external examiner I can show you how to gain the most points by applying your knowledge in a way that answers the questions fully. I have a degree in health and social care management as well as a PGCE in health and social care so feel my experience is benefical and I hope that I can support you to reach your dream job working in the health and social care or early years sectors. I teach Keystage 4 & 5 and Levels 2/3 in Health and social care.
