About Jasmine
Singing often serves as the most effective entry point for newcomer families to grasp English. It feels counterintuitive to teach a complex language through melody, but this approach lowers anxiety for absolute beginners. My MA in Music Education and TESOL certification allow me to bridge the gap between rhythm and grammar seamlessly. Having navigated 10 years of experience, I recognize that IELTS candidates often struggle more with confidence than with vocabulary.
Many of my students in Toronto and Vancouver come from diverse backgrounds where traditional methods failed them. My method integrates phrasal verbs and idioms into the natural cadence of speech.
This creates a lasting foundation for business travelers who need to handle professional interactions with ease. By focusing on pronunciation and accent, I help individuals find their voice in a new country. It works quite well for those who feel stuck in their learning process.
