I have trained in a range of dance styles since the age of 2 and a half and have always thrived from going to class myself.

About Alicia
I’ve always been passionate about dancing and intend to bring this passionate energy to all the classes I teach. I have a bubbly personality that I hope will put each of my students at ease and create a fun atmosphere for them to learn in. For 4 years I voluntarily helped teach classes at my local dance school and loved seeing the students progress. I gained a lot of knowledge from volunteering and in my final year was able to confidently lead classes on my own.
I’m now currently training at one of the top college in the country, Performers college. I am also doing a teacher training course (DDE) in order to gain the qualification to teach ISTD examination grades in ballet, tap and modern.

I will mainly focus on general technique and artistry however can tailor my classes to each individuals specific needs (eg. Pirouettes, strengthening, stretching). In the first class we will discuss the students previous dance experience (those with no experience are equally as welcome!) and set goals for them to work towards. I’m all about positivity! I believe in creating a positive environment to allow students to work hard, focus and grow in confidence!
