About Abir
I have a P.h.D in Education with an emphasis on TESOL. I have taught Writing, Speaking, Reading, and Literature in different universities in Lebanon and Michigan. For my dissertation, I worked on an integrated approach in the teaching of writing.

A teacher should keep in mind that his/her job is to facilitate learning and to guide students to acquire new skills that are useful in life and not to be the primary source of knowledge. To put this to practice, they can help students set goals for themselves, encourage peer editing and peer coaching as well as collaborative learning.
