About Grayson
Technique should actually come after the music itself. Many learners find this counterintuitive until they see how music theory and left hand agility support their artistic expression.
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the Royal College of Music. Over 13 years, I have helped students master scales and arpeggios along with ear training.
My approach includes spiccato and staccato bowing, orchestral playing, and tone production. Grade exam prep like ABRSM and Trinity is a cornerstone of my work. Teaching is the great love of my life.

Structure provides the foundation for genuine artistic freedom. Creating custom scale and étude sheets for each student ensures that every minute spent practising is highly productive. I bring 13 years of experience to these sessions, helping you navigate complex bowing or shifting patterns with calm clarity. My goal is to make the violin an extension of your own musical thought process.
Developing these skills will allow your unique voice to emerge naturally. I find that when we remove the technical friction, the music simply flows.
