What sets me apart is I try to make lessons fun while still structured. In the kindergarten class I student taught for, I created a lesson plan game. The title was called "Who Took The Candy". With this, there were stations when you completed the station and got it correct, the students would get a clue. When the students got all 10 clues they would figure out who took the candy. Those stations included math questions, sounding words out, spelling, reading, finding the vowels, and sounding out the syllables. I've only done lesson plans for kindergarten, but they can be altered to fit K-5.
