About Niamh
My name is Niamh which is an Irish name and is pronounced Neve. I'm from Ireland and arrived in Australia a year ago. I've lived in Adelaide and in Perth and I'm currently located in Geelong. My background has been mainly working in the hospitality sector, but a few years ago decided to take a break from and become a TEFL teacher. In 2021 I moved to a rural city in Spain and worked there as an English teacher for a year before moving to Almeria to do another year there.

For the lessons I will be teaching I like to make sure that the student is learning and leaves the class understanding what they are learning. Small steps along the way can assist in some bigger leaps.
Learning English and applying the skills you have leant along the way is very important but for me as a teacher it's also important that the student has fun while learning.
I'm looking to teach from beginner to intermediate. A student that may need help in speaking, reading, vocabulary, grammar and listening. These requirements can be for personal use or exam purposes.
