I have been teaching violin and fiddle for 30 years now. I have been an onstage professional violinist for 45 years and love to share my experiences and knowledge of music with others.

About Sheila
I had accumulated 65 US National Championships and 15 World Championships. At the same time, my professional career launched with the same alacrity, as I was engaged for interviews and performances which included WBAI and WFUV Radio in New York, RTE 1 Television in Ireland, and had recorded my first group album– all before my15th birthday. I toured with Michael Flatley’s “Lord of the Dance” as an onstage Violinist throughout U.S and Canada, with extended dates in Biloxi, MS, and Las Vegas. I also managed 3 violin shops across the US, including the late Master – Rene Morel’s shop, and Zeta Electric Violins.

Students should expect an easy-going atmosphere, where they will not only learn the instrument but expand their love of music.
I teach beginners/intermediate and advanced students with a complete focus on getting students to play as soon as possible. I teach both by ear and with sheet music. I am extremely patient and my students always have a great time learning. If you don’t wish to take lessons with me, I still plead with you that you take any lessons from anyone and PLAY MUSIC! I teach Technique, Ear Training, Bowing, Audition Prep, Arrangement, Accompaniment, Listening, and Music Performance. Looking forward to hearing from you!
