About Garry
I have been a High School teacher in schools in Bangkok and Northern Thailand since 1995 (over 20 years) and have specialized in speaking, IELTS prep and enjoy one on one as well as group classes. The number of students has been in the hundreds and many of them who did well in their IELTS have gone on to other countries to other universities. I'm so proud of so many of them.

When I was trained and received my CELTA in 1988 and began my career I was taught that the PPP method works best so I do that - Presentation - Production and Practice. The culture in Thailand demands 5 things from an ESL Teacher and I followed and believe it is a good rule = Fun, Calm, Clear, Polite and Convenient to the topics. This has done me well over the years of teaching and I have loved every day of it.
