About Craig
I am a senior mainframe programmer at GM. I have taught programming and databases at the University of Phoenix, ITT, Baker College, and Macomb Community College. I am very qualified to teach TSO/ISPF, COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, Syncsort, Easytrieve, Python, Java, C, C++, C#, OOP, all of Microsoft Office, SQL, Relational DBs, and more. I have created a number of classes in Udemy on programming and written a book on basic C programming. I also have a YouTube channel dedicated to programming. I don't really consider myself a computer 'nerd', but I am pretty good at programming.

I teach in person and online. I am comfortable with Zoom, Hangouts, and Teams. My program is simple: Get the software to work, start small, and keep building. I do not get into theory or algorithms or things that you will never use. Being good at programming is accomplished only by practice. As you get better, you will understand the programming concepts. My classes are available for total beginners, people with some experience, and IT vets looking to pick up another skillset. If your company is interested in a full week training class, that is also available. Very few tutors will have my background, especially in mainframe, but I teach practically all programming languages and relational database topics.
