• What motivates you to teach & why?

  I am very passionate about spreading my knowledge as much as possible. Teaching is my hobby because I find the greatest amount of happiness when I see the success of my students. I try my best to teach every student according to their understanding level, because seeing their good results is what keeps motivating me to teach in an even better manner in future.

• When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?

  When I opted for Commerce field in class 11th and started studying Economics, Accountancy and Business Studies, I realised that these are the subjects of my interest. This made me decide to opt for a carrier path relating to these subjects.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  My Economics Teacher from my 12th grade is my role model. Because, I admired the pattern of her teaching and the way she was able to enhance the knowledge of every student in her class with such ease. I have always believed that she possesses all the qualities of a good teacher and every teacher should be like her.

• What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

  I started my teaching career when I was still a student. The biggest obstacle I faced was to manage my own studies and my teaching career together smoothly. I organised my time properly in order to overcome this obstacle successfully.

• In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

  I believe that anyone can excel in my subjects only if they understand them properly instead of trying to mug up the chapters. The commerce related subjects are often mistaken by the students to be subjects that need only learning or mugging up the entire matter, but actually these are the subjects which need complete concentration and need to be understood properly if one aims at excelling in the subject.

• What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?

  I would try to understand the problem which is making the student give up and the reasons which are making the student believe that the subject is difficult, and accordingly I would try to solve those problems and give the student reasons to believe that he/she can understand the subject as much as anyone else.

• How does someone become a Super Prof?

  To become a Super Prof the teacher must not teach only to fulfil a duty but the aim should be to impart the knowledge in the best possible manner. The teacher should analyse the understanding level of every student and teach every student in a different manner that would be the best for that particular student's understanding. In this manner the teacher will be able to satisfy every Student's requirements perfectly and become a Super Prof.
