Teaching music for mom’s & babies/tots/children. Music stimulates learning, lowers stress, and advances memory, attention & brain development. Most important, children develop a love for music. One of the only activities that activates, stimulates, and uses the entire brain is music.
The lesson starts of with a greeting song. Followed by the following:
Song set in range to encourage children to begin to sing along.
Songs in major & minor tonalities.
Songs to encourage rocking, & movement.
Songs for listening.
Songs with a wide diversity of metric & rhythmic patterns.
Songs with simple words & repetitive tunes.
Songs for call & response.
Songs for accompanying instrument.
Songs with and without words.
Songs with a variety of cultures.
Chats & finger plays that encourage an expressive use of the speaking voice.
Songs to encourage the child to explore the wide range of sounds of speech.
Lesson ends with a goodbye song.
