About Jessie
Jessica Monk is an experienced and reputed Berlin and Melbourne-based Voice Coach and Artist.
Jessica has worked with Bachelor Programs, co-op spaces, contemporary dance companies, actors, musicians and university lecturers as well as many individuals (professionals to
hobby-ists) to promote easeful, efficient and skillful voice use in their chosen fields.
Harnessing tools from Alexander Technique, Neuroscience, The Singing Athlete and the work of Cicilly Berry, Jessica provides a stimulating and enriching space for an individual to become empowered in the art of voice.

What we might develop together:
-An anotomical understanding of the voice's structure and functionality
-An awareness of ones own 'attractor state' (the place where one instictivelysings and/or speaks from) and working to allow ease and freedom from tension in this space
-An understanding of the interplay between the voice and the body (in particular focusing on physical alignment and neural mapping) to release tension and allow for more embodied and easefull singing
-Working stylistically with repotourie in styles inc folk, jayy, pop, music theatre, legit (light opera) and other contemporary styles
