About Filipovic
I have a degree and a master's degree in Decoration for architecture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. I spent a semester at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where I perfected my knowledge of experimental and traditional techniques of textile art. I have worked for numerous clients as an embroidery specialist, mainly in the fashion field. I have won numerous awards for textile artists and my works are part of private and public collections. My works have been exhibited all over Europe.

I don't have a clear definition of my embroidery style, I prefer to improvise and adapt to each design / project in a different way. At first I like to teach my students some basic stitches, not all styles work for everyone and for everything, so I think the most important step is to find the right stitch that a person wants to use and that works for their project. The main challenge is learning how to adjust the tension and involuntary creases, everything else comes after easily.
