Hello, I'm Dan!
I'm a native Chinese speaker with a deep understanding of the language, strengthened by my Bachelor of Arts degree from UQ. Since moving to Australia in 2009, I've developed a well-rounded perspective that blends my Chinese heritage with my experiences here.
In our lessons, we'll focus on all aspects of the language-listening, speaking, reading, and writing-in an interactive, supportive environment. I'm excited to help you explore the language.

1. Techniques and Teching Methodology
My teaching approach is tailored to each student's individual needs and learning stytle. I emphasize practical conversation skills, integrating vocabulary in a way that builds confidence and fluency. Lessons include interactive exercises, real-life scenarios, and culture insights to make learning Mandarin enjoyable and relevant. Beginners will start with foundational elements, while intermediate students will focus on expanding vocabulary, improving pronunciation, and understanding sentence structure.
2. Typical Length of a Lesson
Each lesson is typically 1 hour, allowing ample time to cover new material, practice speaking, and review any questions. Extended lessons can also be arranged upon request.
3. Student Levels
I welcome students from beginner to intermediate levels who want to build their Mandarin language skills.
