About Faye
I am a mature female who completed nursing school while caring for a sick parent, raising children, and working full-time. Organization was the key to my success. In order to complete any task with proficiency you must be extremely organized and detail oriented. I started working as a nursing student right out of school and was hired by the Trauma center. I specialized in Medical/Surgical/Acute care. These are the sickest patients outside of the ICU. I found this to be the optimal learning environment to get experience with every type of patient. I was tapped to become a certified preceptor and was called on for every new hire in the department. My work ethic stood out and my name was on the lips of people I didn't even know. Communicating and collaborating with physicians from all fields allowed me the opportunity to continue to learn and develop my critical thinking skills beyond the class room. I believe in doing things right the first time, take the time to learn your craft and take pride in all things that you do and success will follow. I knew my "why". I want to help you to know yours.

As a former adult student I realize how difficult it may be to organize your time and to maintain a strict schedule. During my time as a student my saving grace was the ability to organize my time down to the minute. I too can show you how to organize your time so that you get the most out of your study time. I can teach you study techniques that allow you to retain the material, how to practice to obtain proficiency in your core skills and prepare you for your midterm and final exams. When you obtain proficiency in your courses throughout your courses passing the NCLEX comes naturally. Of course you still have to study. I also can provide some of the templates that I created for myself to organize and utilize my time. Tell me what you need in a tutor, what are your problem areas, we can work together to get you to the finish line with your head held high!
