About Evelyn
Graduating from James Ruse Agricultural High School in 2023, preparing for the HSC has definitely been a tough experience for many individuals alike. However, first-hand knowledge of effective approaches to studying paired with firm competence in these subjects will allow my students to improve by leaps and bounds.
In high school, I really appreciated the help and expertise of my tutors and peers, leading me to pass on their advice to students of my own.

My lessons are centred around a fundamental understanding of theory content and strategies through which students can apply to their practice to gain confidence when faced with difficult questions. The structure of my sessions can be summarised as follows:
We will start our session by discussing any uncertainties regarding material from the previous lesson. Are there any specific areas of the theory that are hard to digest? Did the practice/homework questions require a methodology that is unfamiliar? This allows me to tailor the rest of the session to each student's unique needs.
After the revision is completed, we can then move onto the next component of theory. My lessons focus on a thorough comprehension of concepts, techniques and question styles. Once the theory has been explained, we will move onto practice questions to apply this new knowledge.
At the end, there will be a quick discussion about today's content and the student is free to ask questions relating to studies or any other concerns they may have and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
Each lesson is usually either one or two hours, with the frequency and timing of these lessons to be flexible and easily adjusted to suit the student.
I am confident in teaching students of ages ranging from primary school to Year 10 and early Year 11 and bring out their academic potential with my utmost effort.
