About Alexis
I am originally from Philadelphia, but I moved to New Jersey. I realized in my last position that I love teaching and would love to do it every opportunity I can get! Seeing a student's face when something finally clicks for them brought me so much joy, I couldn't help but look for other means to teach more students! I am also a student (just like you!) and I'm still learning how to learn everyday, but I've picked up some good skills along the way that I want to share with you!

I like to guide the student through teaching with asking them questions about "why" they are doing what they are doing, rather than having them just memorize something. A typical session with me would be sitting down and assessing the work that needs to be completed, and then finding resources that could help the student or just working through some problems!
