About Gloria

I am a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in helping students understand what they learn. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Security Studies from the University of Jos, and throughout my studies, I developed strong skills in research, communication, critical thinking, and explaining information clearly.

My approach to teaching is simple: I believe students learn best when lessons are clear, practical, interactive, and adapted to their individual needs. I do not just focus on helping students memorize information; I help them understand the topic, identify areas they find difficult, and build the confidence to solve problems independently.

I am particularly comfortable working with secondary school students and students preparing for examinations such as WAEC, JAMB, and other academic assessments. Whether you need help improving your understanding of a subject, preparing for an examination, completing assignments, or building your confidence in a particular area, I am happy to work with you.

I am friendly, respectful, patient, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions without feeling embarrassed. I take each student's level, learning pace, and goals into consideration and structure my lessons accordingly.

My goal is not simply to teach a lesson, but to help every student leave each class with a better understanding of the subject and greater confidence in their ability to learn.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help secondary school students understand their subjects clearly, improve their confidence and prepare effectively for examinations such as WAEC, JAMB and NECO.

I use a simple, student-centered approach. I first identify what the student already understands and the areas where they are struggling. I then explain each topic step by step using clear examples, followed by exercises and past questions to make sure the student can apply what they have learned.

For examination preparation, I place particular emphasis on understanding the syllabus, practicing past questions, identifying common areas of difficulty and improving examination technique. I also encourage students to ask questions freely so that we can address areas they do not understand instead of simply memorizing answers.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. Depending on the student's needs, lessons can include teaching, revision, practice questions, corrections and a short assessment to monitor progress.

I hold a B.Sc. in Criminology and Security Studies and have a strong academic background across a range of secondary school subjects. While I am a recent graduate, I am passionate about helping students learn and I bring patience, preparation and a serious approach to every lesson.

My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, particularly those preparing for WAEC, JAMB (UTME), NECO and other school examinations. I also welcome students who simply need additional academic support, revision or help understanding difficult topics, both online and offline depending on the student's location

Lessons are conducted online, and I can work with students at different learning levels and adjust the pace and approach according to their individual needs.
