I'm a freelance professional oboist, college music instructor, and private teacher. Sharing musical knowledge and inspiring my students is one of my greatest passions! I look forward to working with you and collaborating together. Whether you want to brush up your knowledge for a GenEd requirement, hone your oboe playing ability, or simply learn more about music, I'd be happy to work with you.

I'm a college-level oboe & music instructor, but I can meet you at your experience level! Whether you are a beginner or just need someone to give their opinion, I'm happy to talk music with you! My general approach is to give you tools to use on your own after our lessons are over.

Perfect! She is both very knowledgeable AND very personable. My daughter was really nervous going in, but Elise was so relatable and knowledgeable that my daughter came out of the first lesson feeling really great and like she was in good hands.
