About Caleb

Since graduating UCL I have been honing my skills as a filmmaker and theatre director. Working closely and learning from some of the best practitioners in the industry. Ever since beginning my journey as a filmmaker I have been keen to share my knowledge and expertise, but more than that, I want to inspire other students and practitioners and let them know that they can do it too! I am dedicated to making sure that all my students not only learn but want to learn! It's important for me to inspire creatives and media students to continue working no matter the challenges they may face. I am passionate about filmmaking and work hard on making sure that no matter the obstacle a student may face, they can get through it and that ultimately the practice and study is the victory of being a creative working in today's world. About the lesson

My lessons will give real-world practical advice on the study and execution of film and media practice and theory, from Russell Group university level essay-writing to hands-on practical filmmaking lessons. My lessons range from 1hr - 2hrs per lesson. I have a 2:1 from University College London and since graduating have worked for companies such as, BBC, Channel, Studio Canal, Netflix and Black Bear. As well as this, I have written and directed many short films and directed two feature length plays. As a director I can also provide lessons on working with actors, directing camera, pre-production and editing. My lessons are for students and practitioners of any age and experience level. I truly believe anyone can become a strong media practitioner and theorist and I am open to passing on my expertise to anyone from any age and background. Whether you are interested in general media studies, film studies, theatre studies or anything far and in between, I can give solid lessons to make sure you reach your highest potential as a media practitioner working and studying in 2026. As a recent graduate I can give you real contemporary advice that few practitioners can give. I look forward to the exciting opportunity to work with new media practitioners and help them head into the world with a solid and practical foundation in media studies and film.
