About Matt
I am a very knowledgeable, creative, & resourceful teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. Music has always been a big part of my life & I’ve been playing for over 30 years. I graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies & a minor in Music Theory.

My lessons revolve around the number one rule in music, which is to have fun. I am adamant in giving my students songs they love to play & also giving them different exercises & tunes I know will benefit them. The great thing about music is you can always learn something new at whatever level.
