About Rosalind
I am a community organizer with a passion for documenting and archiving community work in Los Angeles. I recently completed a certification in Creative Writing from the UCLA Extension in order to support my own writing journey and to empower me to support others on their creative expression and/or academic success journeys as well. I believe that writing is a beautiful and important way to express our ideas and structure arguments for subjects which we are passionate about. I am an experienced writer and community organizer in Los Angeles. My writing instruction revolves around understanding your individual goals, whether they are academic, personal, professional or anything in between, and identifying the areas you wish to strengthen in order to improve your writing skills.
My writing lessons can focus on writing skills in general (ex. working to generally improve your craft) or on a specific piece of writing you wish to refine (ex. college admissions essays, academic assignments, etc.).
We will start your session with an initial conversation about what your goals are for your writing, and I will create a custom plan for how to support you in your writing journey.
I am available to support and tutor folks that are high school age and up. I'm looking forward to supporting your academic success and/or your creative expression!
