About Memc
Memc Ngossor | Geography Tutor Hello! I'm Memc Ngossor, a dedicated and results-driven geography tutor with a passion for making the world make sense — one map, one mountain, and one curious mind at a time. With a strong academic background in geography and years of experience tutoring high school and college-level learners, I specialize in simplifying complex geographical concepts, connecting theory to real-world examples, and helping students develop both academic confidence and critical thinking. Whether it's physical geography (like tectonic plates, weather systems, or biomes) or human geography (population patterns, urbanization, geopolitics), my approach is always: Student-focused: I adapt my lessons to fit different learning styles and academic goals. Interactive and engaging: I don't just lecture — I involve, question, challenge, and encourage. Exam-ready: I help students prepare thoroughly for KCSE, IGCSE, or other exam boards through structured revision, practice questions, and strategy. What sets me apart? Clear communication and a calm, motivating presence. Deep subject knowledge with real-world application. A consistent track record of helping students improve both their grades and their attitude toward geography. You're not just learning geography — you're learning how to understand the world around you. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, professional tutor who takes your success seriously, I’m here and ready to work with you.

Why Learn Geography with Me? Because the Earth is Flat... Spiritually. Greetings, curious minds! I’m Memc Ngossor, your soon-to-be slightly confusing but mysteriously fascinating geography tutor. While others will simply teach you the seven continents, I’ll guide you through: Why Africa is both the richest and the poorest continent (don't ask, just follow). How the Equator is an imaginary line but still divides your sense of direction. Why Greenwich Mean Time is the global standard even though time is clearly an illusion. And why Iceland is green and Greenland is ice — a betrayal that geography alone can't explain. My lessons go beyond maps and mountains. I connect tectonic plates to emotional instability, climates to fashion choices, and population density to why you're still single in Nairobi. I hold a degree in Geography, which I think qualifies me to confidently mislead you just enough to make you curious — then teach you the real stuff when you're too invested to leave. Choose me because: I confuse first, clarify later. Like a true master. I teach not just places, but perspectives. I'm not afraid to answer your question with another question. You’ll never forget my lessons — even if you don’t understand them immediately. Let’s explore the world in a way that leaves your brain saying: “Wait… what just happened?” Spoiler: That’s how true learning begins.
