About Angela
As a French girl, I have seen an unfortunate decline in the desire to continue French. My goal is to re-instill passion and give back to students a determined drive to thrive in school and in the future. I have lived in France numerous times, and even went to school there. This showed me that I was able to perfectly adapt with no language barriers, proving that vocabulary and speaking skills are crucial. As a recently graduating student, I find it important to pass down my knowledge to those who want to learn.

Lessons would focus on widening vocabulary for kids who want to learn French as their second language, thrive in school academics. We would extensively dive into a range of tenses and higher order structures that can help them not only do well in school, but be able to tackle the native speaking of France. I would start by understanding the level of children aged 7-16 to see how I can approach my teaching. From there on, I would prefer to actively engage them in their learning, moving away from passive learning. Lessons could be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours - so we are able to flexibly manage time. As a student who achieved the highest results in their HSC in 2025 with a 95 in French Continuers and a 40/50 in French Extension. I am not properly suited to teach French Extension as it is a new course, but I am perfect for speaking, vocabulary, grammar, and listening for a range of ages due to my French background.
