I like to break nursing concepts down to the bare essentials so they are easier to understand and digest. I believe once students understand the basics it is much easier to delve into complex topics. I myself am a visual learner and try to incorporate drawings whenever I can to make information stick! I will generally try to avoid overcomplicated mnemonics or pictographs because I found them unhelpful as a student.
