About Devon
I'm a recent Columbia grad who majored in Economics. As part of that experience, I developed strong fundamentals in math and statistics which I bring to each and every tutoring session. I've taught everything from 7th grade math to college-level statistics. I strive to not only be knowledgeable in the material, but also clear and practical in how I teach it.

In a typical lesson, I tend to focus on a main topic for the day. If a student has a test coming up on probability, for example, we might start with some more straightforward problems to cement the knowledge of a concept, before tackling some more complicated examples to test mastery. I've worked with students from the middle school to collegiate level, and I strive to meet students where they are at with the material.
