About Cher

Hi, I'm Cher. I’ve always loved maths and enjoyed helping classmates master tricky concepts at GCSE and A-Level. After earning straight As, I graduated with a 2:1 in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and worked as a medical journalist. I’ve since completed a postgraduate diploma in Economics and am training to become an actuary. I love making complex maths intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable for every student.

. I have A grade double-award maths GCSE, A grade Maths A level (pure + stats) and AS maths mechanics. I have an upper-second class degree from Cambridge University in Natural Sciences and a postgraduate diploma in Economics. I want to tutor maths to re-enter the workplace after having children as an actuary.

About the lesson

Welcome! My approach to tutoring is to work in the best way for you. Do you know which areas you want to focus on, the stubborn areas that you find tricky, while the rest pales in significance? Or do you want to cover everything systematically? My technique is simply whatever works and anything until each maths subject clicks for you. My lessons are for people studying maths at all levels up to GCSE.
