About Caitlin
I am a Professional Master's of Education student in UCD. Last summer I completed my J1 in North Carolina I worked in a traditional all-girls summer camp - Picture the movie the "Parent Trap" for 3 months. This was a sleep-over camp where the kids stayed for 3-5 weeks and ranged from 7-17 year old girls. I have a lot of experience working with teens. I also have 2 younger brothers myself who are in their teens. I have worked in a secondary school in inner city Dublin for a full academic year and completed work experience in the secondary school I attended in Cavan.

My teaching uses a broad range of methodologies. I enjoy using visual prompts to aid understanding and this will particularly assist visual learners. Lessons can be 1-2 hours depending on the student's preference. I have taught English as an additional language to Chinese students in school and gave grinds in Cavan. Lessons are for Junior and Leaving Cycle students as well as adults who would like to learn English as a language. EAL lessons are mainly conversational for beginners and can develop into more literacy-based as the student develops their abilities.
