About Ilker
My field of interest is literature. In my spare time, I like to watch movies/series and listen to songs. I have an American accent, so I can guarantee that those who listen to me will not have difficulties in accent, by looking at my previous and current students. I focus on four skills in the lessons. I am a competent teacher in speaking, listening, reading and writing. In the speaking part, I carry out the process by addressing the interests of my students and the necessary topics, and providing constructive feedback. In the listening part, I choose listening texts that students can encounter in real life, so I save the lesson from boring. In the reading part, I read together with the students and focus on reading comprehension skills by simplifying the parts that are not understood. In the writing part, I teach the students what they should pay attention to while writing (such as creating an outline, giving supporting ideas...)
