About Alessandra
In the UK I got to meet and interact with people from all over the world - and we all communicated in English. That experience really stressed to me how important it is for us to be able to communicate in English both efficiently and naturally (for personal reasons and at work). In my experience, being able to use your English skills with confidence takes quite a lot of practise, effort and patience. And it is possible to get there, even for an adult!
Our lessons will be focused on conversation - as speaking is the most complex skill to develop (in my humble opinion).
We'll immerse in English and the lessons' contents will be based on each student's needs and goals, such as:
*Speaking
* Improving your Pronunciation
* English for travelling
* Job interviews
Because of my Science background I also give lessons focused on academic English, such as:
* giving talks in English (both scientific and business)
* Proficiency exams for Masters and PhD degrees
* Writing and proofreading abstracts (Bachelor thesis)
* Writing and proofreading scientific articles

Hi there! I'm Alessandra, a biologist passionate about the English language. I've lived abroad (in the United Kindgom) for over four years to obtain my PhD. Getting the experience to live in English in such profound way is absolutely liberating - and that is precisely what I want to provide you with: to get confident in speaking English clearly and naturally.
Over the course of our lessons I aim to provide you with an open atmosphere for you to practise and develop your English skills - practise is the key! :)
Lessons based on a communicative approach, focused on each student's needs and with relevant content for them.
