About Barbara
Hi, my name is Barbara! I'm a college student, currently completing my degree in German language and literature. At my university, I frequently help out with tutoring in our language department, and I am so excited to share my knowledge further and meet students from all over. Learning and teaching the German language is something I've always been passionate about, so I can't wait to continue to teach in a relaxed, productive and fun manner, and customize my lessons accordingly.

As a college student myself, I understand how tough it can be to learn a language while balancing classes, work, and life.
Additionally, as a non-native speaker myself, I can put myself into the perspective of someone learning the language, as opposed to having it naturally ingrained in them. My focus is on building confidence first, so German feels usable, not intimidating.
