About Keri

I am a committed, life-long learner of languages and have been in full time posts as a educator for over 28yrs full time. I am the faculty leader of international languages and Welsh at a high achieving school in Wales. I am versatile, energetic, enthusiastic and I have the ability to motivate and inspire. I have led many language projects and work with primary schools on planning and development of languages curricula. I am highly experienced in exam preparation at all levels and have experience as a teacher-examiner at A level.
I have taught myself Latin and Ancient Greek and lead sessions on Classics in my current school. I am also learning Indonesian and Arabic. Languages are a hugely important part of my life and my great passion.
I love travelling, scuba diving and drama.

About the lesson

I have taught for over 28 years full time as a languages teacher and have been the head of faculty for 19 years. I have taught A Level languages fully online for four years for the local authority. My results have been excellent. I teach the full age and ability range and all key stages at a highly successful secondary school in Wales. I also work in an advisory capacity for the educational consortium, on languages curriculum development. I also work closely with primary schools in the development of their new curriculum and teach regular lessons from early years to Year 6. I am a very experienced and highly skilled linguist and have an engaging and inspirational teaching style. I produce bespoke, high quality resources and adapt my teaching style accordingly, so that my learners excel. I am particularly skilled at online teaching, with the energy and drive to make virtual learning fun and motivating. I can also facilitate a successful blended teaching and learning approach. with a mix of live and online lessons.
