About Simon
With 13 years of experience, I teach singing to students from school to college with a focus on personalised growth and creative expression. My approach blends traditional vocal training with modern, innovative methods, including interactive exercises, vocal improvisation, and performance simulations.
I emphasise fundamentals like breath control, pitch accuracy, tone, and flexibility, while also encouraging creativity and personal interpretation of songs. Each lesson is tailored to a student’s unique abilities and goals, fostering confidence, skill development, and a love for music.
I aim to create an inspiring, supportive environment where students feel motivated to explore their voice and reach their full potential as singers and performers.

My Singing teaching approach is based on clear guidance, creativity, and cultural awareness. Communication is at the heart of my lessons. I explain techniques in a simple manner and provide regular feedback so students understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
Creativity is encouraged to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I use creative warm-ups, expressive exercises, and song interpretation activities to help students connect emotionally with music. This builds confidence and improves overall performance.
Cultural sensitivity shapes my teaching style. I respect different musical backgrounds and include songs from various cultures and languages. This inclusive approach helps students feel comfortable and appreciated while improving pronunciation, expression, and musical understanding.
Accountability is supported through structured lesson plans, practice schedules, and progress tracking. I help students develop discipline and responsibility in their learning. Along with Singing, I also teach supporting subjects such as breathing control, rhythm skills, basic music theory, and stage confidence for well-rounded vocal development.
