About Sarah
I am a Master's student studying genetics and genetic counseling at the University of Pennsylvania. I have extensive knowledge of genetics, biology, and chemistry. I also have a passion for writing and editing narratives. I enjoy helping students identify and communicate their "why" through application essays that stand out and portray the applicant authentically. Having gone through both undergrad and graduate school application cycles, I have a unique perspective on how to make a lasting impact on applicant reviewers.

College Applications: For writing and application assistance, I specialize in first-person, narrative-style essays. I have worked with 20+ students on college and graduate school application essays. From brainstorming topics to fine-tuning essays, I work with students at many stages of the application process. I work with all types of applicants (including genetic counseling program applicants). I offer a free 30-minute video consultation to discuss your needs and goals. $55/session.
Tutoring: For science and math subjects, I often review and re-teach topics from different angles to maximize understanding. I also facilitate problem-solving and workshop-style activities to reinforce application. I am adaptable in adjusting lesson plans to accommodate many learning styles. $35/hour
