About Issi
After tutoring my younger cousin through her 11+ I found I really enjoyed tutoring and I wanted to help others pass the 11+ or help those who struggle in English at school. I have a real passion for English and I want to encourage other to enjoy the subject, but its hard to enjoy something you don't think you good at, thats why I want to help teach young people to improve in English and help prepare them for secondary school, GCSE and higher education. Having a good foundation in English will make secondary school learning less of a jump and promote a good attitude to learning.

11+ prep : Focusing on answering exam style questions in both timed and non-timed conditions, teaching Time management and exam skills to get the most marks, SPAG skills and new inventive ways of learning not just reading from a textbook.

General English tutoring: Grade 9 (A**) student in English, I have worked with Primary school aged children and KS3, focusing on skills needed for GCSE and building them early in order to make English easier at higher levels, Supporting Year 5/6 making the jump to secondary school and the increase in workload it comes with. With first hand experience of Year 7, and the level of work required now.
Lesson time = between 30-60 mins
