About Bree
Kia ora, Buenas, Merhaba, Kon’nichiwa, Oi! Hello! I’m Bree, a New Zealander (or “Kiwi”) specialising in teaching English as a Second Language.
I spent over two years in Sydney teaching adult learners from all over the world, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. During that time, I developed a real passion for helping students not just learn English, but actually use it confidently in real life.
Now based in Melbourne, I focus on English confidence coaching through conversation practice, pronunciation support, and real-life speaking situations. My goal is to help you feel more natural, fluent, and comfortable using English at work, in social settings, and everyday life.
When I'm not teaching, I love to travel and learn about different cultures- I recently spent two weeks in Brasil and it was just amazing. I enjoy reading, learning Spanish (mostly through music), visiting art galleries, and I've been keeping up with the 2026 Men's FIFA World Cup.

Let's talk about the Men's FIFA World Cup!
The best way to improve your English is to use it naturally, and that's exactly what we'll do. Through fun and engaging conversations about football (and other topics, of course), you'll build confidence, improve your fluency, and practice speaking in a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment.
I'll guide the conversation and provide personalised feedback along the way. I'll help you to express yourself more naturally, correct grammar when needed, and support you when you're searching for the right words.
If pronunciation is something you'd like to improve, we can also focus on sounds, stress, rhythm, and speaking more clearly and confidently.
Whether you want structured feedback or just easy-going conversation practice, I’ll adapt the lesson to your goals. The more we speak together, the more natural and confident your English will become, until it starts to feel effortless.
