About Montana (Montie)
I grew up as someone who would have ran a marathon on stilts before wanting to sit down with someone (a tutor), and divulge my learning problems to them. I was really insecure about my inability to understand some subjects and their coursework. So, as i got older and became more confident in my learning abilities, i started to help others who experienced the same problems i had. It’s a gift to be able to understand an insecurity and help someone feel less ashamed of it, and I enjoy being able to use that gift. I STILL struggle with things in school, but that’s exactly what school is for. No one goes into it knowing everything! That would defeat the purpose of learning.
I would love to create a trusted and comfortable connection with someone struggling with those same insecurities. Hopefully, that’s you!

It’s hard finding someone to confide in about education and learning, especially when it’s something you may not be proficient in! That’s why I’m here. I enjoy helping others unlock the confidence within themselves to learn the hard stuff. I believe in positive reinforcement and redirection, negative reinforcement and punishment are not words I would use to describe my style. I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn something you don’t understand. I understand the anxiety that comes with asking for help, and that’s why i’m doing what i’m doing now! I want to keep you from feeling that anxiety during our lessons!
