My Methodology & What Makes Me Unique: What sets me apart is my dynamic blend of Direct Instruction and Gamification. I firmly believe in providing clear, structured explanations to build a solid foundation in subjects like Mathematics and Languages. Then, I bring these concepts to life through educational games, interactive challenges, and digital tools. This "learning by doing" approach transforms difficult topics into engaging puzzles, boosting confidence and making lessons something students genuinely look forward to. My recent practical teaching experience in various schools has given me a deep understanding of the common challenges students face and how to overcome them effectively. Languages of Instruction: I am fully proficient and able to teach in both English and Afrikaans. I offer lessons for both Home Language and First Additional Language streams in these subjects, providing tailored support for language comprehension, literature, and writing skills. What to Expect in a Typical Lesson: A typical lesson with me is structured, supportive, and interactive. We will begin by reviewing previous material to ensure mastery, then move into a clear, step-by-step introduction of a new concept.
