About Ale Zar

I'm 39 years old, I've been singing for as long as I can remember, and I've been composing since I was approximately 10. I've been a voice teacher for 15 years. I trained in the Rabine singing method known as Functional Voice Education. I trained in piano at the Ástor Piazzolla Conservatory of the City of Buenos Aires. I studied music both inside and outside of the academy through courses in Harmony and Composition, Functional Harmony applied to the Keyboard, and Music Reading and Writing. I'm a composer and singer. I've composed approximately four albums and released them under my stage name Ale Zar, which can be heard on all digital platforms. I'm a vocal coach for studio recordings and prepare my students for their shows, working on a repertoire of covers or their own. With my students who are composers, we work on the structure and harmony of the songs, as well as the nuances and vocal resources for performance after in-depth vocal training. I have a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. I write short stories and have won several contests that allowed me to publish some of them.

About the lesson

People think singing is a gift. Surely the voice is that wonderful that it can be considered that way, but it's not the result of a magic trick, but rather the result of the relation and dynamics between the postural system, the respiratory system, and vocal function. I'm going to teach you exercises specifically designed to coordinate all of these muscles in the most efficient way, resulting in a flexible voice that can healthily adapt to what we want to sing, increasing our expressive capacity and enjoyment. This way, the interpretation, nuances, inflections, and vocal resources are easier to work on, since our postural, respiratory, and vocal tract systems will be more stable, and our vocal cords more flexible.
