Tarek has been working with my daughter for a few weeks now. She had lost all confidence when it came to maths and taking her GCSE’s. Tarek has built up her confidence in a very short time, and she no longer dreads her maths sessions at school and is beginning to believe in herself again. With Tarek’s help, my daughter now knows she can pass her GCSE maths. I have no doubt that Tarek’s tuition will see her reaching her goal.

His humor and good education were "la cerise sur le gateau" (the icing on the cake) as we say in French. Tarek is fluent in french as well and can easily tutor British or international students.

Tarek has tutored my 5 year old with primary maths. When she started with him she did not know her bond of 10's. After 4 months she not only can do her 10's she was able to add and subtract double digits. He was also very calm and patient working with a child so young. I am very please with the outcome of the lessons and looking forward to working with Tarek again on other subjects.

Tarek worked as a group leader during a two week residential programme, where students across the country came down to London to undertake an internship at JP Morgan Chase. Tarek was responsible for a group of 10 students and had collective responsibility with other group leaders for 45 students in total. Tarek was exceptional role model for the students; approachable, yet firm and displayed good communication skills. He gave students clear concise instructions during evening activities organised for the students and throughout the two weeks students felt comfortable to raise their concerns/problems they were experiencing as well as discuss their educational aspirations. Tarek gave good advice to students throughout the residential. He was a reliable member of staff and had excellent time keeping management throughout the two weeks.

I was supervised by Tarek during a 2 week internship organized by the Social Mobility Foundation. Throughout the internship, he was fun and engaging whilst showing a strong level of responsibility and excellent communication skills.

Tarek was responsible for getting a group of me and 9 other student, none of whom were from London, across the city to their place of work; he was also responsible for our pastoral care and generally accomodating our every need. It is true to say he did his job exceptionally well.

Having lived in London and studied Civil Engineering, Tarek was keen to teach us about some of the buildings & infrastructure in London. A few weeks later, I found myself studying resonance (in A2 Physics) and remembered Tarek telling me about how & why dampers were installed on the Millenium bridge to counter resonance from people walking on it! This really helped me understand the real life application of Physics and made it much more interesting.

I have no doubt that Tarek would make a great tutor, engage well with his students and take real responsibility for their studies.
