About Agustina

I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I started studying English at school, which I keep refining to this day. As a teenager, I went on exchange to Denmark, where I got the chance to learn Danish and improve my English, and also started studying Japanese during lockdown. My personal journey has inspired me to help others reach their language goals, hence why I teach my own tongue, as a way of giving back the knowledge I've gotten from those willing to practice with me.
My best qualities are patience and perfectionism. I strive for the capacity to be understood the best way possible, both for me and my students. I always have a smile on my face and I'm very creative when it comes to explaining intricate things, even if something is a challenge for you, I will do what it takes to help you get past it.

About the lesson

My classes are all about practicing the language and having fun!
During my classes, conversation is the starting point. I, as a polyglot myself, know how hard it can be to let go of your fear and just speak, so I'll grab your hand as we walk along the path of fluency!
Each lesson will be 50 minutes long. I will prepare a topic for each class along with a pertinent questionnaire, which will guide the conversation. Your task will be to answer the questions and prepare the phrases and information that you want to share beforehand. When we meet, I will correct your writing and pronunciation, and we will continue speaking based on what arises.
The topics will be based on what you want to learn, or designed by me, making sure that we always have something to talk about. Some examples can be: food, sports, free time activities, art, nature, etc. If our topic was "food", some questions might be:
-¿Cuál es tu comida favorita? (What is your favourite food?)
-¿Cómo la preparas? (How do you prepare it?)
-¿Dónde la comiste por primera vez? (Where did you eat it for the first time?)
-¿En qué ocasiones te gusta prepararla? (In what occasions do you like preparing it?)
Since you should already be able to say some things, this kind of lesson isn't meant for beginners, but if you know the mere basics, don't hesitate to contact me, I'll teach you what you need to know and we'll have lots of fun chatting :)
