About Sharon
At present I am Head of Key stage and Play coordinator in a primary school in Belfast. I have lots of experience in teaching children catering for their individual needs so that they reach their full potential. Outside the classroom I have been tutoring pupils privately for the past 7 years from the ages of 5 to 11 years in literacy and numeracy support. I develop an excellent rapport with the children I teach. I can assess where they need extra support and provide them with the tools and skills that they need to flourish in primary school. I have received a high standard of success from all of the pupils I teach measured in lots of different ways such as exam results, entrance exams, school reports and parent recommendations.

I am an Early Years Specialist with a vast amount of experience. I have 15 years teaching experience and have been tutoring for 7 years. Once I have assessed in which areas that your child needs the most help I will take your child through literacy and numeracy lessons. I can also offer support with school work and reading assistance. I can take your child through homework and if needed I will set homework for your child to complete. All lessons are online and will be completed in a face to face context via Zoom. pupils may need to purchase various text books that we will work through. Lessons are 1 hour sessions (30 mins for children aged 5 to 7).
