About Usman

I have been teaching computer science and IT from the last few year covering all major exam boards.
I did my PGCE computing at King's College London in 2019-2020. Since then, I have enjoyed my role teaching computer science and IT, helping students achieve and excel in their academic goals. I have also been a head of department for computing at my current school.
As a teacher, I focus on what matters and produce results for students. In addition, I also have experience of working in the industry which helps me show real life perspective to my students.

About the lesson

My approach to lessons is focusing on past exam questions to check for thorough understanding. I make my lessons engaging with student focused tasks & activities throughout the lesson. In addition, I also focus on real-life examples for practical understanding.
I had a a range of positive feedback on my lesson delivery with students taking interest and engaged throughout the lesson.

Perfect! Usman is an absolutely exceptional tutor. He is excellent at explaining concepts from the foundations using a whiteboard and powerpoint and then building up to an exam-focused approach. He is also exceptionally motivating, which was both important and reassuring throughout her studies.

With his help, my daughter achieved an A in A-level Computer Science. She thoroughly enjoyed his lessons and always praised his explanations. He really gets the most out of his students, which is so important when it comes to maximising their potential. I would highly recommend Usman to anyone looking for an excellent Computer Science tutor.
