About Scott
I began my photography career in 2011 when I opened my own studio. Since then I have photographed thousands of subjects from portraits and products to travel and lifestyle. Photography is my current full-time occupation and products I have photographed have reached total sales of nearly half a billion dollars.
I also enjoy helping others learn so I decided to formalize my teaching credentials and obtained a Master's Degree in photography from Ohio University. Since 2014 I have taught photography and digital imaging to hundreds of students during my evening classes at the University.

My teaching approach is based on real world relevance. I tailor each lesson for the skills needed by the individual to achieve THEIR goals. My lessons are not just boring slides on the screen. I actively engage with each student and show why every photography skill in the plan is important to achieving their goals using hands on assignments that put them into action. I strive to build confidence in every step you take to give you the best opportunity for success.
