About Jeren

Hi my beloved students! I'm Jeren from Turkmenistan, a country that is located in Central Asia. I earned my M.S. in Energy Management from New York Institute of Technology in 2015 and since 2017 spent over four years working for international organizations and diplomatic missions.
But my passion has always been teaching and sharing my knowledge and personal insights, tips and more with those who are in need and still at the beginning of their long but interesting and unforgettable journey.
I started teaching by preparing my friend's niece for her studies in the U.S. university in 2018 and since then, helped to prepare and realize educational dreams for many of my students.

About the lesson

As an experienced tutor, I understand how the learning process can become intimidating sometimes, especially if there is no one to support you.
When I work with my students, I try to combine two lessons into one such as dividing an hour and twenty minutes long lesson into two parts: one is covering grammar and another one is speaking. As many students find it difficult to speak in a foreign language, I make sure that all my lessons always include speaking.Moreover, I try to help them to improve their pronunciation, to make sure they feel comfortable when pronouncing words.
After having a first free lesson, during which we get acquainted and discuss everything in detail, which also provides me a chance to analyze the student's level of knowledge. Based on our discussion, I provide a tailored program that meets the needs of my students (also considering their age).
