About Poojitha

Hi! I'm a Computer Science graduate and a working software engineer who believes learning should be fun, curiosity should be encouraged, and no question is ever silly! I love exploring technology, solving problems, and sharing what I learn with others. I believe that with the right guidance and a little patience, anyone can learn something new and exciting. For me, learning isn't just about gaining knowledge; it's about building confidence, thinking creatively, and enjoying the journey along the way!

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making programming simple, practical, and enjoyable. As a Computer Science graduate and working software engineer, I understand the importance of building strong fundamentals before moving on to advanced concepts. I believe that anyone can learn to code with the right guidance, consistent practice, and a supportive learning environment.

**My teaching methods**

I explain concepts step by step using simple language, relatable examples, and practical demonstrations. Rather than encouraging students to memorize code, I help them understand the logic behind it and develop their own problem-solving skills. I encourage questions, interactive discussions, and hands-on coding exercises so students can learn by doing.

**Structure of my classes**

Each class begins with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by an introduction to the new topic. We then work through examples together, practice writing code, and solve exercises to reinforce understanding. I conclude with a recap and suggestions for further practice. Lessons are adapted to each student's pace, existing knowledge, and learning goals.

**What makes my classes different**

As a software engineer, I can connect programming concepts with practical applications and real-world development. I aim to create a friendly, patient, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and learning from them. My goal is not just to help students complete assignments but to develop their confidence and independent thinking.

**Who can benefit from my classes?**

My classes are suitable for school students exploring programming, beginners taking their first steps into coding, and college students looking to strengthen their computer science fundamentals. I teach C++, Java, Python, introductory Artificial Intelligence, and PostgreSQL, with lessons tailored to each student's level and interests.

Whether you are starting from scratch or looking to improve your coding skills, I will help you build a strong foundation one concept at a time.
